MAINTAIN YOUR JEWELRY

You own a UNKNOW BRAND creation and we thank you for your loyalty.

The materials for your jewelry have been carefully selected and it has been designed according to the strictest criteria and has been the subject of attentive care and rigorous controls at all stages of its manufacturing.

Your UNKNOW BRAND jewelry is a fragile object that requires the greatest care. When you wear your jewelry, take care to handle it with care to avoid bumps and falls.

However, a piece of jewelry lives with the person who owns it, its daily wear will give it a patina and your life will mark it, making your piece of jewelry unique.

In order to maintain its beauty and shine over time, and to slow down the natural wear of your jewelry, we recommend that you follow the daily use and maintenance advice below.

USAGE TIPS

In general, we recommend that you do not wear your jewelry when you practice certain activities (sport, manual work, etc.) during which they could be subject to shock.

Also avoid contact with water (fresh, chlorinated, saline) and sand, which could irreparably damage the precious metal and stones.
Sources of intense heat and sudden temperature changes should also be avoided.

We also advise you to ensure that your creation is not in contact with perfumes, soaps or chemical and cosmetic products, which could alter the color and natural appearance of the materials. It is recommended to wait for your perfumes and cosmetic products to dry completely before wearing your jewelry.

Jewelry can be damaged by friction or collision: avoid wearing it in piles, on the wrists or neck.

MAINTENANCE TIPS

You can intensify the shine of your jewelry by gently wiping it with a soft cloth to remove any impurities or substances that would alter its appearance.

If you wish to clean it, you can immerse your jewelry in soapy water (neutral PH soap) and gently pass a toothbrush with very soft bristles to remove impurities, then rinse it with clean water and dry it carefully. using a soft, dry cloth.

As it lives and is worn, your jewelry will acquire a patina and its color may therefore change (depending on the acidity of your skin, its use, atmospheric conditions, etc.). If it is tarnished or scratched, your jewelry can be repolished, if possible, which will restore its original shine and a “new” appearance.

We advise you to have the condition of your jewelry and the setting of the diamonds checked once every two years to ensure that they are well held in place.

TIDYING UP

When you are not wearing your jewelry, it is best to store it in its original case, avoiding contact with other pieces of jewelry to protect it from any friction, shock or scratches.

Diamond is the most sparkling and hardest of minerals. This means that it can scratch other materials. We advise you to take care to store your diamond-set pieces separately.

We also recommend that you do not store your jewelry in a humid area (bathroom for example).
